Mantie

Mantie Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026

In short: Mantie has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. Your clocks, currencies and settings stay on your iPhone. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous crash reports, which help fix bugs.

Data stored on your device

The cities, currencies, preferences and friends you choose are saved on your iPhone and shared with Mantie’s widgets on the same device. This data is never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it.

Mantie uses your device’s time zone setting to show your local time. It does not ask for or use your location.

Crash reports

If Mantie crashes, it sends a crash report through Firebase Crashlytics, a service from Google. A report contains:

We use crash reports only to find and fix bugs. They are not used for advertising or to track you, and are kept for about 90 days. See Firebase’s privacy information for how Google processes this data.

Exchange rates

To convert currencies, Mantie and its widgets download exchange rates from Frankfurter, which publishes rates from the European Central Bank. These requests contain no personal data, though like any internet request they reveal your IP address to that service.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. Mantie only receives confirmation of which items you own, and keeps that on your device.

What we don’t do

Children

Mantie collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because crash reports aren’t linked to you, we usually can’t identify which ones are yours. If you have questions or want to make a request about your data, write to us and we’ll do our best to help.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
